John Hughes 

If it weren't for Ferris Bueller's Day of Off or Breakfast Club, I don't think life would be as bearable. These movies were after my time but John Hughes captured youth and stringed it out into something closer to reality and less like fiction. He inspires me to not only find happiness out of young life and that youth isn't the end but the beginning.
